The Institute for Socio-Environmental Studies and Entrepreneurship - IESA is a non-profit organization established in February 27, 2019, with headquarters in the city of Ilhéus, Bahia, Brazil, registered in the National Register of Legal Entities under No. 33.208.930 / 0001-94, constituted in the form of a non-profit association, without political party links, with the objective of promoting conservation and sustainable management of natural resources, seeking alternatives for socioeconomic development, improving the quality of life and and food security of traditional communities.

IESA is guided by transparency principles, with a governance system made up of Board of Directors, Fiscal Council and Executive Board.

Financial reports are monitored and approved by the Board of Directors and the Fiscal Council and endorsed by the General Assembly at the end of each year.
